Sims Central
Well, I think I've finally got Sims Central reformatted well. The cool webring was messing up my tables (that's what I get for opening it once in Adobe PageMill!). It wouldn't have been too difficult to fix if FC weren't always a day behind in updates. I always had to wait to see if the changes took right. Well, anyway, from now on Sims Central will be a main index and this is our updates, news and links page.

Buffy
Last night we had our second Buffy Dinner Fest -- it may become a tradition! It's even more fun to watch Buffy with friends. Azrael hasn't been feeling too great and she really enjoyed the extra attention, too!
As for the show itself (the 2 hour Buffy/Angel crossover), it was pretty good if a wee bit on the downer side. We did enjoy seeing Spike again and are glad that he's still out there to be seen again. We were a little bit disappointed about the way they dealt with the ring....it would have made such a nice plot device to allow Angel to get around a little more. Still, I agree that it would have been problematic to have had the ring around. Not only for Angel's reasons, which were good, but also because vamps would have always been swarming to get the ring (and it came off so easily! what's with that?).

Movie Culture On-Line
Do you enjoy parodies? This site has links to all sorts of funny movie parodies. One of our favorites is Troops -- a Star Wars meets Cops parody (takes a while to download). Then there's good ol' Wierd Al's Phantom Menace Parody The Saga Begins to the tune of American Pie. The Vault has all sorts of great fake movie trailers (Spawn With the Wind, anyone?). Elves in Black protect Christmas from the scum of the earth.... Well, you've got the idea. Well, check out Movie Culture On-Line for current links to great parody sites!

Elsewhere Space
I've been going through all my links, looking for my favorites and this site is really worth a special mention. This is KimKat's home page. She has a page called Playback, dedicated to Ralph Fiennes as well as Finned and Finner, dedicated to Neil and Tim Finn. In other words, it's clear that she has great taste. This young woman has also published a novel as well!

Books You May Have Missed
Just found this site through the Armchair Readers List. There's a monthly review and you get to vote on next month's choice. There are also forums and book links.
Dr. B. called us today with a prescription for the wee Azrael. We hope that this antibiotic will do the trick (and not upset her tummy too much!). We hope that Jennifer (Dr. Brinson) has a very nice vacation visiting her sisters. She definitely deserves a break!

Azrael just won best member site from C.L.A.W. and she's mighty proud!
Yesterday we had fun celebrating Tony's birthday with Missy, MJ and Jim, Hellen, Chris and Natasha. Azrael and Mr. Bear had some goodies, too, but Phoebe was too scared and didn't get any cake :(
The Practice was really heavy last night, wasn't it? David E. Kelley sure knows how to explore the depths of lonliness!

Animal Friends and Rescuers
We've added a couple of new winners for Phoebe's Helping Paw Award. In addition, we've had a new winner for the Paws Up Award as well.
IT'S TONY'S BIRTHDAY!!! Unfortunately, our car decided to act up on Friday, so it's put a little damper on the celebrations. We do plan to have cake and icecream later, though.

Hope's Halloween Bash
We just got back from voting on the costumes at Hope's Halloween Bash. If you've never been to a feline costume party, then you're in for a real treat! The only down side is that it takes a long time to get through it all because of all the graphics. There are games and refreshments, too. Hope's place always has fun stuff. She throws the best parties, too ;-)

I've been trying to change the format of Sims Central, but haven't had any luck FTPing it today. It's amazing how sometimes one page will upload but another not. But it is a free site, so I guess I shouldn't complain too much.
I really enjoyed ER last night. I hope we see lots more of the new Dr. Kovic (sp?).
Well, it's now time for lunch, Days and Rosie!
